The world is mourning. Since the end of 2019, the virus has been spread and become a terrible scourge for the world community. It is Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). In Indonesia, there are more than 4 million cases of covid-19 positivity with more than a hundred thousand people are died until today. This is a world massive pandemic that changes all the habits of the world community. People are no longer easy to go out for gathering even working and schooling. People have to be used to the New Normal. It is by applying health protocol; Physical and social distancing, Handwashing, and Wearing a face mask everywhere going.
Education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills needed by themselves, society, nation and state.
However, to make this happen, it cannot be carried out face-to-face, due to Covid, which causes mass gatherings. Therefore, learning is carried out at home.
Studying at home serves to provide learning to students who are unable to take part in face-to-face learning due to the corona virus. However, this does not reduce the enthusiasm of students to learn, especially studying English. There are many applications that can be used with distance learning, such as E-learning, Zoom meetings, Google-meet, Google Classroom and others.
The language center continues to support English teaching and learning activities where students must remain active and take part in learning activities such as speaking, listening, writing and grammar.
